Don’t Miss This Free Training
Whether you’re advising clients who are weighing the decision, supporting those already on GLP-1 medications, or helping someone figure out what comes next, one thing is clear: these medications are here to stay. And your clients need your help.

The conversation most practitioners are having stops at the medication itself.

Yours should start where that one ends.

About the Event
IRH Executive Director Margaret Floyd Barry will be sitting down with faculty member Kristin Whitaker, a board-certified holistic nutritionist who has been working extensively with clients on GLP-1 therapy and has a front-row view of what's actually helping them and what isn’t, for an honest, practitioner-to-practitioner conversation about what we're seeing in practice and what that means for how we support our clients

What We'll Cover
Preparation for Medication
How to help clients answer the question 'Is GLP-1 therapy right for me?' — including how to prepare for the medication and what most providers never address before writing the prescription.
Managing Side Effects
Supporting clients already on GLP-1s, both those experiencing side effects and those tolerating the medication well who want to make sure it stays that way.
Coming off GLP-1
How to support clients through reducing or coming off GLP-1 therapy — working alongside the prescriber to preserve the gains and minimize rebound.
Clinical Work to support Medication Discontinuation
The foundational clinical work that makes discontinuation possible — and what has to be in place before a client can realistically step away from the medication and hold their results.
This is not a conversation about whether or not GLP-1s are good or bad.

It's a conversation about how you show up for clients who are considering use or already using them.
